Over twelve months ago the club started fundraising to supply three defibrillators in local communities. The first one was located at the club, the second at the Hendrewen Hotel, Blaencwm and recently the third at Pen Pych Community Primary School, Blaenrhondda.
The unit was presented by Carl Hamer of Welsh Hearts, also in the two photographs are Pat Price(Headteacher), PCSO Natasha Foster, Janet Slade-Jones(Fundraiser) & Rowley Pryse(Club Secretary). Other photographs show some of those present receiving advice and training on CPR and the use of a defibrillator.
The club would like to thank all those involved in the fundraising to pay for the fitting of these life saving devices in the communities of Tynewydd, Blaencwm & Blaenrhondda.
